Timeline

Here is the timeline for Meydan Free Zone company formation

Types of IFZA License and Companies

The various licenses that IFZA Dubai issues for the establishment of free zone companies are as follows:

Professional: In Dubai, a professional license is granted to companies that provide consulting and services.

Commercial: Permit for distribution, storage, import, and export.

Industrial: Permit to import raw materials and to manufacture and process specific products.

Up to seven (7) activities that may be under one license or several license categories may be combined under IFZA.

IFZA allows combining up to seven (7) activities that may belong to a single license or different license types.

Most importantly, the authorities facilitate investors by ensuring issuance of licenses in four (4) days and quick registration of the company. Since its establishment, IFZA has offered business setup packages aimed at fulfilling the needs and demands of businessmen from across the world. The investors can easily obtain Dubai business license and register their companies without having to travel to the United Arab Emirates.

The following company types are allowed to be incorporated by IFZA:

A limited liability company (LLC) is a type of business structure in which the firm’s debts remain its own and do not transfer to its shareholders’ personal accounts. Liability of a shareholder is limited to the amount of money he has invested in the business. An LLC’s assets are acquired under the company’s name, not the shareholder’s name.

Branch: Companies that already operate can open a branch in IFZA as long as both the branch and the parent company engage in the same activities. The identity of the branch is seen as being combined with the identity of the parent business for the purposes of profits, gains, returns, expenses, obligations, and liabilities.

Limited Liability Company (FZ LLC)

  • Single or multiple shareholders.
  • Shareholder can be natural person(s) (individual) or legal person(s) (company).
  • Can be a trade and/or service-related activity.
  • Liability is limited and extends only to the amount invested in the company.

Branch/Representative Office

  • Any company set up outside of Meydan FZ can form a “Branch/Representative Office” as long as it is a legal entity of its parent company.
  • Business activity must be a service-related activity (E.g: marketing, consulting).
  • International branches cannot conduct trading activity unless set up as a limited liability company

Procedure for Forming an IFZA Company and Issuing Resident Visas

Why IFZA?

The International Free Zone Authority, often known as Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority, is a free zone that was founded in the Emirate of Dubai. The most affordable options for establishing a Dubai free zone corporation are provided by IFZA.

How Can a Free Zone Company Be Started with IFZA?

With IFZA, establishing a Dubai free zone corporation is a simple process. All you have to do is place an order on the internet by choosing the plan that best suits your needs as a business. For every kind of license, including commercial, professional, industrial, and general trading firm licenses, A2z Setup Zone provides a range of products.

The procedure for establishing a Dubai free zone corporation with IFZA is outlined here.

Step 1: Go to the website, pick a package, and place your order.

Step 2: Send in the application’s corresponding set of documents:

  • Each shareholder’s scanned passport in clear, color.
  • Each shareholder’s most recent UAE visa or entrance stamp (if available).
  • copy of your Emirates ID, if applicable.
  • Each stockholder is shown in a passport-sized photo with a white background, revealing their shoulders and head, wearing black attire, without jewelry or eyewear, and without teeth.

Step 3: After the application is complete, we will process it through IFZA. IFZA will grant the license in four or five (4-5) business days.

How can an IFZA business help me get a UAE residence visa?

Step 1: We will apply for the company’s establishment card if you have chosen the license with visa entitlement. The establishment card will be issued within five to seven (5-7) business days.

Step 2: The UAE immigration needs the visa holder to be present in the UAE for the issuing of the resident visa due to the current CoVid-19 scenario.

Step 3: We’ll get the application for the visa ready. The IFZA will process the application and issue the UAE e-visa in four to five (4-5) business days.

Step 4: After the visa is granted, the process of changing the status of the visa will begin so that the visa holder can continue with the medical examination and Emirates ID biometrics. A change in visa status can be made in one to two (1-2) working days.

The following is a list of the status change regulations:

Status Change (inside the UAE):

  • The visa holder will not be permitted to leave the UAE until the passport has been stamped with the resident visa following the completion of the change of status.
  • The visa holder has thirty (30) calendar days from the time of entry or the completion of the in-country change of status to finish the medical exam and apply for an Emirates ID.

Step 5: The visa holder will apply for an Emirates ID and take the medical exam. Depending on the package the visa holder chooses, medical findings can be issued in as little as two (2) hours with the VVIP package or as long as seven (7) days. The following paperwork is needed for the medical exam and Emirates ID:

  • original visa-holding passport.
  • A copy of the e-visa that the IFZA issued.
  • A copy of the confirmation of the change in status.
  • Each shareholder should provide three passport-sized images with a white background, displaying their shoulders and head, wearing dark clothing, without jewelry or spectacles, and without teeth.
  • The company’s trade license.
  • business card issued by the establishment.

Step 6: The visa holder can use the Emirates ID biometrics when the medical result has been issued.

Step 7: In order to get your visa stamped and get your Emirates ID, you need to send the following paperwork to the IFZA offices:

  • original visa-holding passport.
  • Original passport-sized images of each shareholder, nine (9) in total, with a white background, colored shoulders and head visible, dark clothes, no jewelry, no eyewear, and no teeth.
  • copy of the free zone’s e-visa.
  • A copy of the confirmation of the change in status.
  • A certified copy of a medical test result.
  • Copy of the Emirates ID application with stamps.
  • A copy of the business’s trade license.
  • A copy of the business’s establishment card.

After the original documents are submitted to IFZA, the visa stamping process takes five to seven (5 – 7) business days. After the visa has been stamped, ten (10) days will pass before the Emirates ID is given out.
